Hey @juliankain,

I'm using this thread to help organize work on the libc project: https://github.com/embeddedartistry/libc

The first step is to work through the README and make sure you can compile the project, run the unit tests, and have the tests pass. Depending on your OS, there may be problems that we need to work through.

Once you're up and running with the project, we can work together to decide what you're interested in. I know it wasn't your first priority pick, just wanted a thread anyway!

If you let me know your GitHub username, I can add you as contributors to the project. This will help me send code to you for review, assign issues, and lets you work directly within the project repository instead of needing a fork.

Also, I spent some time this week documenting different guidelines and processes for working on open source projects. Please take a look at the resources linked in this thread, and let me know if you have any questions.

Thanks, @phillip. My GitHub username is juliankain. I'm going to review the guidelines you posted, and review libc, libmemory, and arduino-logger issue trackers for something interesting and achievable for me to work on. I'm pretty busy at the moment, but really look forward to starting this when I have the time. Thanks for offering this work and mentoring; it's a good idea.

Great! No rush on timing, I just didn't want to be the bottleneck anymore :). If you don't see something that you think is at the appropriate skill level (or that you are interested in), let me know - we can probably simplify something.
