Office Hours
Embedded Artistry members and those who have purchased one of our courses are invited to attend our regular office hours.
This is primarily a forum for asking questions. You can submit questions in advance, or ask them live. Submitting questions in advance provides a chance for the highest quality answers.
If there are no questions, we can just hang out. I may also do some live coding or showcase something that I’m working on.
Target length is 60 minutes. I’ll do my best to keep going as long as there are questions, schedule permitting. If sessions are regularly going over 60 minutes in length, I’ll add additional sessions to accommodate the demand.
Office hours will be recorded. This is not a safe place to discuss protected information.
Schedule
Office hours are currently scheduled for the first Wednesday of each month at 1100 Pacific.
I would like to accommodate all time zones, but unfortunately I cannot. The best option, if you cannot join live, is to submit questions in advance and watch the recording.
Submitting Questions
Questions can be submitted by e-mail, through the “Contact a Teacher” button in our courses, in the community, or via the contact form. Even if a question has not been explicitly put forth to be answered during office hours, we may cover the question and answer if it provides a useful example.
This is not a venue to discuss protected or confidential information. For that, we need a formal consulting relationship with confidentiality terms in place.
Recordings
Office hours will be recorded. Recordings will be shared when there is illuminating discussion or when a question is answered. Videos will have timestamped links for each question so that you don’t have to wade through each video for a specific answer.
Members have access to the full backlog of recordings.

20260401 Office Hours
1 April 2026 by Phillip JohnstonDuring this office hours, I attempted to chat with Nathan (with connection issues hindering us) and then edited two videos for an upcoming workshop. This workshop has the working title “Software Fundamentals in the AI Age.” This will be offered in a hybrid format: videos will be provided to watch (or listen to) independently. Then, we will come together for scheduled working sessions to apply the fundamentals to our projects and workflows. I plan on launching this in late April or early May. Workshop Video – Session 1
