Building Embedded Teams in the Modern Era

Embedded Artistry and Memfault are joining forces to host a quarterly embedded discussion panel that is focused on the technical aspects of building embedded systems at scale. We will be featuring guest panel members who are at the cutting edge of embedded development. Our goal is to spread beneficial techniques and practices throughout the industry.

Our third event is focused on Building Embedded Teams in the Modern Era. It will be held on 8 December 2022 at 0900 PST. For this discussion, Phillip from Embedded Artistry and Tyler from Memfault will be joined by Kerry Sharfglass, Director of Device Software at Span.

Modern firmware teams need more than just firmware engineers to be successful. You need team members prepared for development and testing as well as post-launch responsibilities like monitoring if you want to scale your devices successfully.  If you don’t have some mix of hardware, electrical, software, cloud, DevOps and data engineers on your team, you might have to halt feature development while your firmware engineers spend time writing SQL queries to debug connectivity issues.

Join this panel discussion with embedded engineering experts and learn how they have built and scaled successful embedded teams. They will share some of their stories of building out teams and some of the challenges they faced.

You can sign up for the live event and find the recording on this page.
