Beyond that rough point, reviewers simply grow tired and become less effective. Some teams may be concerned that this is not enough time to sufficiently review the amount of code produced by the team. However, we find that it is more than enough time once code review becomes a daily practice. If a longer review duration is necessary for some reason, take a 20-30 minute break every hour in order to let developers mentally recharge. …
